Children and youth are very important to us at SBF. Our desire is that people of all ages (K-Gr. 12) encounter the love of Jesus in a way that meets them right where they are.
Nursery care is available throughout the entire service each week where kids can worship through play, movement and even sleep if necessary! Babies and two to three years olds have the lower auditorium to have more active and inter-active options and there is a place for sleeping too!
Each Sunday, our families begin worship together for the first half an hour or so before they begin Sunday School in the classrooms downstairs. A typical Sunday involves a Bible lesson, a craft/game and time together for prayer. Our teachers are all approved by the church and completed criminal record checks as a part of following our SBF Protection Policy.
Currently, we have Sunday School classes for:
- preschool – 6 years (room off the fellowship room, to the right of the library)
- elementary aged boys and girls (lower room of the old nursery)
Our middle and high school students stay in the service to worship and learn and be part of the congregation.
