Chris Yue is the Leading and Teaching Pastor at Saanichton Bible Fellowship where he has served since 2009. Prior to SBF, he had been blessed to serve as a pastor in a few other churches throughout Vancouver Island and the Mainland throughout his 20+ years in church ministry. Chris completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology before God revealed other plans for his life and led him to complete graduate studies at Regent College and Fuller Theological Seminary. Chris has been married for 19 years and has two children aged 14 and 11. In his spare time, Chris enjoys playing hockey and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks.
Troy Dunham has been serving as Community Development Pastor since August 2012. Before Victoria, Troy had the opportunity to serve in Alberta and Saskatchewan as a Youth and Associate Pastor as well as working in Student Recruitment and Advising for a small university in Calgary, Alberta. Troy graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from Ambrose University College in Calgary and his Masters degree in Non-Profit Leadership through Trinity Western University. Troy and Amanda have been married for five years and have two beautiful daughters. Troy can often be seen running on roads and trails on the Saanich Peninsula or exploring new and favourite restaurants with his wife.
Dennis came out of retirement to serve SBF after retiring from shepherding Oaklands Chapel for 25 years. Dennis loves to preach the Word and he and his wife Olive enjoy caring for people. They have 4 married children and 9 grandchildren. Currently, Dennis serves in a variety of different capacities including leadership of a home group and seniors ministry, a service at Saanich Peninsula Hospital and pastoral care around the church.
Nina has worked at SBF since September 2007. The diversity of people at SBF makes it a great place to be. Born and raised in Victoria, Nina and Doug have two adult sons as well as a dog and cat. They love camping, exploring the small communities in BC and looking for big trees. Nina enjoys reading, gardening and watching her boys play sports.
